Hot Air Balloon Safari

Your adventure begins with an early pre-dawn pickup from your lodge, followed by a 45-minute drive to the launch site (80 minutes from GRAIN MELIA). At dawn, you board the hot-air balloon for an exhilarating one-hour flight. As you ascend over the plains with the increasing light, your pilot guides you to an altitude of at least 1,000 feet, providing a sweeping panoramic perspective of the landscape. Following the initial ascent, a significant portion of the flight takes place at a level near the treetops or even just above the grass, providing close-up views of the wildlife, vegetation, and natural surroundings below.

Upon landing, you're greeted by the ground support team with a celebratory bottle of champagne. Then, it's time for a gourmet breakfast served under a shady umbrella tree near the landing spot. Indulge in a lavish spread featuring an English breakfast with tropical accents, elegantly presented on bone china with silverware and crystal glasses.

The balloon adventure concludes around 10:00 a.m., and you're chauffeured back to Seronera Lodge to reunite with our driver-guide. Given the early morning timing of this excursion, it's an option even if not all members of your group wish to participate. In case of cancellation by the operating company due to weather conditions or any other reason, you'll have the choice of rescheduling for the following morning if it aligns with your itinerary or receiving a full refund from Maximilian Adventures.
